Mac founded a group in Winnipeg called "The Golden Slippers"... because they couldn't stay sober. Pat Cronin in Mpls, MN founder of Mpls Alano Society, brought them the Big Book, did some studies and Mac took it the rest of the way..The Slippers survived over 40 years as a group. The Big Book is alaive and well in Canada thanks in large part to Mac!
